Chris Bruce

Elder and Lead Pastor

Chris came to First Baptist in the fall of 2013. Originally from Allen, Texas, Chris met his wife, Rachel, while the two were attending college in Abilene. Together they have three beautiful girls - Halle, Addyson, and Elliott. Since their move to Lexington, Chris and Rachel have loved watching God's kingdom grow in the hearts of His people at First Baptist.

Chris is a graduate from Hardin-Simmons University (BBS, MDiv) and Baylor University (DMin). When he's not chasing their three girls, you can probably find him reading, hunting and fly fishing, strumming a guitar, or playing tennis and ice hockey.
